The timing of this shot by Andy @bigbearphotography is just incredible, one of the reasons he is so good at what he does. This vibrant shot was taken at @sussexmusicfestival a few years ago, which are are glad to be playing again this year on the 4th of July!⠀

Our local live music venue the Star Backroom - Gui $Our local live music venue the Star Backroom - Guildford was under threat from a developer, ironically, called Neil Young who managed to get a noise abatement order through to stop the live music at the Star Inn. With overwhelming support from the general public, and dogged determination of the Star Crew to keep fighting the Noice abatement order, after months of fighting the power...eventually, the decision was overturned and this legendary rock venue... has now been SAVED!! This iconic & most ironic cover was performed by our band during the uncertain times, at a time when we thought we might be playing our last show in our home venue! Long may the Star rock in the free world! \m/ Well done to everyone who made an effort to #saveourstar - you all rock! Thank you!! Rocking in the Free World - Intro ⠀ This was our $Rocking in the Free World - Intro ⠀ This was our set closer about a year ago when we heard about our local music venue, our Temple, the Star was going to get closed down due to a noise abatement order. Thankfully,our Temple was saved and the Star is still Rocking in the Free World! \m/⠀ ⠀ Other venue are not as lucky & we can't stress how important it is that you get out and support local live music venues in 2020. Have a kickass year and try to get down to your local music venue when you can. With any luck we’ll be playing ;)$

Tonight is band practice night (every Wednesday) ! We are rehearsing ahead of our last gig of the year, when we will be supporting Radio Seattle (who are playing their last ever gig). This will go down on Dec 5th, at Fiddlers Elbow, Camden, London. There are the most diverse and one of the best grunge covers bands we have ever seen. Make sure you catch them live one last time! Following the theme about “the futility of hostility that we laid down with “Our Summer is Dead” in our EP, here’s another clip form one of our newer songs. But we are unsure if the song should be called ‘Raze the Raised’ or ‘Raise the Razed.’ What do you think? Or doesn’t it really matter?⠀

The song is about how the war machinistas gamble with peoples lives, in the pursuit of making profits from arms deals, war and ultimately killing people. The song particularly focuses on how, in the process, they bomb the shit out of civilians and civilian infrastructure, which has led to a growing refugee crisis. Our song, and thoughts, go out to all those displaced by war. ⠀

Free Recovery - live - playing the intro to our original song "Raze the Raised." We've got a good feeling that this track is going to be a winner of our upcoming album. It has proven to be a real crowd-pleaser every time we've road-tested it at a gig this year.⠀

With the introduction of James, our new guitarist, and the addition of his parts and the great synergy between him and Dave, this song has definitely gone from being 7 or 8... to a 10 for us. Especially now that we have added a new outro that is guaranteed to do some serious face-melting! ⠀

If any of you are local to the UK and wanna come and see us play live, we have a few gigs on the horizon, which we are very glad to announce we are playing as a 5 piece again, after all these years! ⠀
